虢城、焦城与陕城考

历史上曾有南虢、北虢两虢之称,清人王先谦认为南北虢实属一虢.若从南北虢两虢说,则必有南虢都城与北虢都城之别;若从南北虢一虢说,北虢之"下阳"则为虢之都邑,虢之真正都城应在上阳.关于上阳城的具体位置,目前考古界有李家窑址说和陕州故城东部说.本文拟就虢城、焦城与陕城的地望以及它们的关系作一讨论.

A Study of Guocheng,Jiaocheng and Shaancheng Cities

It was recorded that there were South Guo and North Guo while Wang Xianqian of the Qing Dynasty thought that South Guo and North Guo meant the same city.If according to the former,the capital city of South Guo would have been different from of North Guo;while if according to the later,the real capital of Guo would have been situated in "Shangyang" while "Xiayang" of North Guo was just one of the cities of Guo.As for the specific location of "Shangyang" ,there are two vewpoints about it in the field of archaeology,that of Lijiajiao site and that of the south of the ancient city of Shanzhou.And the relationship among the three cities are one of focuses of scholars'discuss.
