Du Chongyuan and New Life Weekly

New Life Weekly set up by Du Chongyuan was a magazine that had important influence during the 1930s when the mass movement of resisting Japan and saving China was at a low ebb. In the complex and enervated environment, Du Chongyuan propagandized the cause of resisting Japan, exposed the essence of Japanese aggression and called for resistance against Japan and salvation of the nation by the broad masses through his magazine. In the process of the modern national and democratic revolution of China, Du Chongyuan is one of the distinguished non party personages.
