| Abstract: | In 2006,a partial excavation was carried out on the Tanghu site in Xinzheng City, Henan.In the total excavated area of 4,380 sq m,the remains of Peiligang culture occupies 2,580 sq m. The excavation revealed large quantities of Peiligang culture vestiges:22 house-foundations,33 ash-pits, one tomb,one gulf and two ditches;and brought to light a batch of important cultural objects,mainly stone implements and pottery.The excavation of these remains provided new important data for studying the settlement patter... |
