起步时的艰难探索

从 1 95 6年社会主义制度建立到 1 978年十一届三中全会召开前的 2 0多年里 ,我们党经历的巨大成功与巨大挫折错综交织的情况 ,正是党的理论与实践正确与失误交替发生的反映 ,也是我们年轻的共和国刚踏上社会主义建设道路时艰难探索的写照。中国共产党第一代领导集体在当时的历史条件下 ,从解决当时的急迫问题入手 ,开始了社会主义建设的最初探索 ,在经济、政治、文化等方面取得了许多积极成果。这期间也发生不少失误 ,有些对社会主义建设事业造成了严重损失。对探索中发生的经验教训及其根源进行分析 ,对于我们今后继续求索的漫长的社会主义建设道路 ,有着重要的借鉴意义

Difficult Explorations in the Beginning Stage

The intertwined great successes achieved and serious setbacks suffered by the Communist Party of China (CPC) during the more than twenty years from 1956 when the socialist system was established to the eve of the Third Plenary Session of Eleventh Central Committee in 1978 are a reflection of the alteration between right and wrong of the Party in its theories and practices and a portrayal of the difficult explorations of the young republic just stepping on the road of socialist construction. The first generation of collective leadership of the CPC undertook under the historical conditions of that time the initial exploration of socialist construction with tackling the urgent problems as the first step. A lot of positive achievements were scored in economic, political and cultural fields and some of them are still used for reference now. Meanwhile, the Party committed numerous mistakes, some of them did great damages to the cause of socialist construction. Analyses of these mistakes and their root causes will offer useful lessons that merit attention in our explorations of socialist construction in the future.
