| Abstract: | Focusing on Meizhou Qiaoxiang (a hometown of overseas Chinese),this paper elaborates the achievements of the investment in enterprises and the donation for schools by overseas Chinese in Southeast Asia and compatriots in Hong Kong and Macao,analyzes their role and contribution to the economic development of Meizhou,thus illustrating a unique way of social and economic development in a Qiaoxiang. |
