| Abstract: | In the autumn of 2002 , cooperating the capital construction, the Municipal Institute of Archaeology of Sanmenxia excavated a pit of chariots and horses, which contains 8 horses and 3 chariots and is located in the northern urban area and to the west of former Houchuan village. Based on its shape and the structure of the chariots, the pit can be dated to the early and middle Warring States Period. |
