| Abstract: | Over the past few years a remarkable research project has been undertaken by Australian and international curators and scholars which resulted in the staging of two highly successful exhibitions. While most audiences would only have seen one or the other, a small number of people have been privileged to see both. This review provides an analysis of the two exhibitions, a rare opportunity to consider how the same story has been told in different hemispheres. |
