| 摘 要： | 宁夏回族自治区博物馆的前身是1959年9月成立的宁夏地质博物馆筹备处.1973年宁夏回族自治区博物馆正式成立,馆址位于银川市承天寺院内。2004年新馆建设被列为自治区成立50周年大庆的献礼工程。2005年11月27日,新馆建设工程举行了奠基仪式,馆址位于金凤区人民广场东路东侧。2008年8月28日。新馆正式开馆使用。

| Abstract: | On August 28,2008.in order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the autonomous region.Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Museum was officially opened and put into use.Ningxia enjoys a long history and a rich cultural heritage. There are more than 40,000 pieces of cultural relic collections in Ningxia Museum.And more than 4000 pieces of them are precious relics above Grade Three and 159 of them are identified national cultural relics of Grade One.
