| 摘 要： | 本对沅水下游17个地点的旧石器的地理埋藏、自然环境、化面貌、时代特征进行了分析，并与相邻的澧水化类群和（氵舞）水化类群进行了比较，认为这批旧石器的时代为旧石器时代早期偏晚至旧石器时代中期，属华南砾石石器传统，并指出沅水下游旧石器属于澧水化类群，兼具澧水、（氵舞）水两大化类群之间的某些过渡性特征。

| Abstract: | Thisarticleanalysesthegeographicaldeposits,naturalenvironment,culturalcontext andperiodcharacteristicsof Paleolithictoolsfromseventeensitesalongthelowerreachesof the YuanRiver,andcomparesthemwiththosefromneighboringclustersof Li RiverandWuRiver regions.ThesePaleolithictoolsareidentifiedin thegraveltooltraditionin SouthChina,anddated to thelatephaseof theEarlyPaleolithicAgeto theMiddlePaleolithicAge.Theyareconsideredto belongto thecultureof theLi Riverregion,butpresentsomefeaturesfromthatof theWuRiver regionas well. |
