明代中后期粤东增设新县的地方政治背景——以万历《普宁县志略》为中心

为强化地方管治,明中后期粤东县级政区屡经调整析分。政区变动牵扯到错综复杂的疆界划定和赋役摊派等地方资源分配问题,造成新县增设过程中充满矛盾斗争。本文以编撰于建县初期的万历《普宁县志略》为例,分析新县的内外困弊及其与邻县的都图纠纷,探讨当地官绅如何利用方志这块园地,通过有意识地书写地方历史来处理新县与原属县的利益纠葛和县际关系。

Local Political Background of the Change of Administrative Structure in Eastern Guangdong in the Mid to Late Ming:A Case of Puning Xianzhi Lve

The imperial state made a series of adjustments to the local administrative structure in the mid to late Ming,creating new counties in order to strengthen political authority in Guangdong but causing local conflicts of territory and tax resources.Through a detailed account of the process of the establishment of Puning county in Chaozhou,Guangdong Province,the paper identified the writing of local chronicle,Puning xianzhi lve(普宁县志略),and its political and social motivation,which reflected the dilemma of such new counties after social disturbances in eastern Guangdong in the Ming.
