Comparisons between Cleaning Methods for Stone Relics

The study simulates and compares the cleaning effect of stone relics＇ surface pollutant between several commonly used cleaning methods in stone relics,and it analyzes diseases of the stone relics surface contaminants and pollutants.For chemical cleaning,steam jet cleaning,sand blast cleaning and so on,the merits of the commonly used cleaning methods and cleaning effects are compared.On the basis of the analysis of the suitability of the cleaning methods,it is suggested that special cleaning methods need to be combined with each other,whereby harmful pollutants could be effectively removed and the stone surface contaminants are wiped out,in order provide conditions for subsequent protection and reinforcement.
