村民与镇民:明清山西泽州的聚落与认同

明清时期山西东南泽州地区的镇的发展,在某个层面上看并不落后于江南,其聚落发展的历史也很悠久,但它与村落的关系极为密切,在它形成之后,并不一定在空间上独立于原有的村落,使我们可以巨村为镇概括其特点。在此过程中,当地人如何称呼本地、如何称呼本地人,而非仅仅根据外人或后人的判断,也是我们认识村、镇性质及二者关系的重要方面。出于对村镇一体关系的认识,与其说将这里的镇与村的关系概括为市场共同体,不如概括为以社为核心的地缘共同体。
