| Abstract: | This article provides an overview of a typical hospitality and tourism doctoral program in leading institutions in the United States. The paper focuses on the two important components of doctoral education： graduate curriculum and student mentoring. Based on the overview, several important implications are offered to the Chinese Master＇ s students who aspire to enter the doctoral programs in the United States. |
