| 摘 要： | 论文以田野调查资料为个案分析,结合相关的理论解读,探析了当代海外华人双重文化认同的基本特征。研究显示,海外华人的双重文化认同是兼具工具性和选择性,且具有复杂多元的个体差异性的“购物车”式混杂型认同。美国华人的双重文化认同主要呈现混杂型特征,而“情境性”的交替型特征并不明显;其“购物车”式文化认同的工具性和选择性体现在语言的使用和偏好、宗教活动和价值观取舍等多个方面;其个体差异性不仅体现在不同群体和代际之间,在同一群体内部也同样复杂多元,这是家庭环境、成长经历和个人性格等微观因素建构的结果。

| Abstract: | Based on a two-year field study in San Diego,CA and Boston,MA,this paper takes the ethnic Chinese in the two areas as a case study to explore the characteristics of their bicultural identity.After a literature review and an analysis of the first-hand material collected in the field research,the author proposes a“shopping cart”model of bicultural identity,which features hybridity,selectivity,pragmatism and individuality. |
