中国近代化的历程也是一个逐步纳入以民族国家体系为基础的世界体系之中的过程 ,中国本身也经历着从传统的帝国向民族国家的转型。本文以 1 9世纪末 2 0世纪初国籍问题为中心 ,尤其是清朝朝野对荷兰 1 90 7年出台的《新订爪哇殖民籍新律》的反应 ,来分析中国民族国家转型过程中 ,不同群体民族国家身份认同的多样性和复杂性以及认同的焦虑和危机

Nation-state Identification and the Predicament: A study on the issue of nationality in the late-Qing

The Chinese modernization is a process of gradual involvement of China into the world-system based on the nation-state. This process also indicates a transformation of China from a traditional empire to a national-state. This paper is a study on the problem of nationality in the late 19 th century to the early 20 th century, especially the response of the court and commoners to the new law regarding identification of residents in the Java colony issued by the Netherlands in 1907. In addition, it is intended to analyze the complication and predicament of nation-state identification, as well as anxiety and crisis of those who were facing this problem.
