Abstract: | Complex patterns of groundwater flow exist in the Mole Creek karst area, Tasmania. Many surface drainage divides are breached underground The evolution of the drainage has been dominated by (I) the deflection of streams along the strike of the limestone beds; (2) progressive changes to hydraulic gradients; and (3) a history of climate change during the Quaternary that has seen drainage diverted underground by glaciers and/or by proglacial and periglacial sedimentation |
