The seasonal maximum in the amplitude of the semidiurnal tidal wind in the upper mesopause region over Central Europe

Abstract:The highly homogeneous tidal wind field pattern in the upper meaopause region in September every year appears to provide the best opportunity for comparing the results of high-atmosphere wind measurements obtained by different measuring methods.
