试论霍山戴家院西周圜丘遗迹

霍山戴家院西周遗址发现圜丘遗迹,可能与文献记载中的"冬至奏丘"、"祭天燔柴"等有关。实地模拟观测,表明该遗迹与冬至祭天迎日以及观象授时等活动有关;由于遗址规模较小,可能属于乡村公社祭祀土谷神以及民间祭祀天神活动的场所。

The Cicular Mound Altar Site in Western Zhou Dynasty at Daijiayuan,Huoshan

A Huanqiu relic of Western Zhou Dynasty was dug out at the Daijiayuan archaeol ogical site in Huoshan County, and some dust layers of charcoal and ashes had be en found to leave behind on its surface. It may be interrelated with the "play music at hillock in midwinter" and "offer sacrifice to God by burnt firewood" t hat had been recorded by literature. From the center of the Huanqiu, direction of sunrise in the winter solstice can be found that was just at one and only cove of Fulan mountain peak, by simulative observation on the spot. That indicate this relic bears no relation to the activities which offer sacrifice to God and sa lute sunrise and observe phenomenon to time service. Because the size of this site was smaller, it may be a sacred concourse which offer sacrifice to Gnome and Ceres in country community and offer sacrifice to God by civilian in country.
