| Abstract: | Based on the fieldwork research conducted in the Xiaoling Overseas Chinese farm and relevant archival analysis,this article examines the unique identity of refugees with the theoretical concept drawn from Benedict R.Anderson's Imagined Communities.The author shows how the returned Overseas Chinese from Vietnam have developed and maintained their imagined identity with the interactions of three main factors,including the shared suffering recollection of their migration history,the favorable policies and aids... |
