清末政教论与宗法社会的史学语境

摘    要:宗法社会的讨论是中国近代社会史学研究的中心问题之一。晚清学人研究这个问题有着复杂的社会背景及政治语境;因救亡图存的历史使命所驱使,近代学术与政治密不可分。康、梁的政教论既借鉴严复等介绍西方政治制度方面的学理,也糅合国学传统中的公羊三世说。就晚清参与讨论者而言,诸如梁启超、夏曾佑、严复等,大多兼有政治家、学者双重身份,他们议学兼论政,探讨西方社会的历史或中国古代历史等以探究学理,其话语中趣旨往往指向现实政治。
