| Abstract: | Gold outline painted enamelware is a unique type of enamelware in the collection of the Gugong, and few examples can be found outside this collection either in museums or among private collectors. This article presents a brief introduction to the special characteristics of the craftsmanship, the content of the decoration, and the dates and places of production of these wares, demonstrating that such wares were tributary items produced in Guangzhou for presentation to the court during the reign of the Qianlong Emperor. |
