再论《瀛寰志略》

本文从编纂体裁及世界观两个角度对《瀛寰志略》的学术价值作了评述 ,认为该书是第一部由中国人吸纳西方章节体编纂而成的兼具中西之长的世界史地著作 ,从该书对世界文明的评述中 ,可解读出“世界文明层次论。”

YINGHUAN ZHILUE Revisited

This article expounds the academic value of YINGHUAN ZHILUE from the angles of the compilation style and world outlook. And it holds the book was the first world history geography work which was absorbed in western forms of chapters and section. At the same time the work had good qualities of China and the western countries. We can see the gradation theory of the world civilization from the comment on them.
