迄今为止,研究者一般认为,南宋后期只存在郊坛下官窑一处。但是,通过对南宋时期文献记载的考察,作者认为,南宋后期与南宋前期一样,也有两座官窑——修内司官窑与郊坛下官窑。郊坛下官窑从建立之日到南宋消亡之日,一直都在乌龟山麓经营窑业,而修内司官窑,则于13世纪10年代前后从老虎洞搬迁到了望江门内金钗袋巷。
