晚清上海德安押当票探析

Probe into pawn ticket of De An pawnshop in Shanghai at the late of Qing Dynasty

DE An pawnshop was a small pawnshop run in Shanghai by pawnbrokers from Huizhou during the reign of Emperor Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty.The existing De An pawn tickets clearly show the operation features of De An pawnshop,such as low cost,short-time limit,high interest and considerable profit.The above-mentioned features exactly reflecct the common features of the small pawnshops at the late of Qing Dynasty.
