Abstract: | A series of commonly occurring cranial measurements for Harappan Indian populations was considered. Stepwise discriminant analysis showed that there is morphological divergence between rural and urban populations, as well as within the settlement of Harappa. Also, it seems that the analysis of cranial measurements alone will not confirm the Gandhara Grave Complex as belonging to early Indo-European speakers in India. |
