陈云与古籍整理

古籍整理出版,是一项继承和发扬民族文化遗产、关系子孙后代的事业。新中国的古籍整理出版事业发展道路并不平坦,从1953年起步,在“文化大革命”十年浩劫中遭到严重破坏。1976年“文革”结束后,陈云对这一事业非常重视和关心,曾多次发表有关讲话,并于1981年专就古籍整理出版工作发出重要指示,使这一饱受摧残、完全停顿的事业重现生机,取得了前所未有的发展。这对历史文献学的发展,具有十分重要的意义。

Chen Yun and the Collation of Ancient Books

The collation and publication of the ancient books is a comprehensive business, which not only aims to inherit and develop Chinese cultural heritage, but benefit our child in the future as well.However, this business was not developed as we expected at the beginning of the new China. It started gradually and slowly in 1953, but was damaged severely during the 10-year Cultural Revolution. Nevertheless Chen Yun paid close attention to the restudy of the ancient books after 1973 as the Cultural Revolution ended. He made several speeches addressing the importance of the ancient books in cities as Hong Zhou. And more significantly, Chen Yun published the key direction of the development of the ancient books in 1981, which gave this almost vanishing business the new life and achieved the tremendous growth afterwards.
