In 1992,88-year-old Deng Xiaoping,still racked his brain for the development of the Chinese nation,further demonstrated the relationship between capitalism and socialism and referred to world peace and development from a global perspective.Based on China,he pointed out that the development should center on economic construction,adhere to grasp material and spiritual civilization with both hands,and unite the Four Cardinal Principles with reform and opening up and with the reunification of the motherland.Respecting for the people,he put forward that the farmer were the main body of china,the youth were the most dynamic group of people and family were the cell of society and the carriers of people.His evaluation of himself covered his growth,achievements,failures,retirement and other aspects.Facing the future,he confidently stated the problems of China’s future development and the would-be problems of the distribution,and firmly stressed the trend of world history.In early 1992,Deng Xiaoping’s "Southern Talk"was not only a sign of maturity of Deng Xiaoping Theory,but an extremely important element of Deng Xiaoping Theory.
