皖江文化就是皖江地区人从古到今在处理人和世界的关系中所采取的精神活动和实践活动的方式及其所创造出来的各种物质财富和精神成果的总和.它具有源远流长、文化世家多、开放程度高、创新意识浓、辐射力强、发展不平衡和自主性不足等特点.

The Connotation and Charateristics of Wanjiang Culture

Wanjiang Culture mainly contains two factors. One factor is Wanjiang people's mode of spiritual and practical activities in which they have been managing the relationships between man and world since the ancient times. The other one is the stimulation of the material wealth and spiritual achievements which Wanjiang people have produced and created. Wanjiang Culture has some bright characteristics such as with a long history and numerous well-known cultural old families, great extent of being open to the outside, strong creative consciousness, powerful influence on ambient area,imbalance of development and insufficiency of independence.
