| Abstract: | In April to July 2005,the Xipo site in Lingbao City,Henan,was excavated for the fifth time,which brought to light 22 tombs,i.e.two damaged and 20 in rather good condition.They are all rectangular pits furnished with second-tier inrnutual soil platforms except for one pit and containing no coffins.Foot pits for funeral objects occur in part of the tombs.The human skeletons lie in a supine ex- tended position.The grave goods consist of pottery,stone,bone,jade and ivory artifacts,with the pottery coming first ... |
