纪昀与《四库全书》

清代乾隆年间<四库全书>的编纂,是中国古代历史上最为浩大的文化工程.著名学者纪昀参与其中,既总揽全局,"撮举大纲",负责全书的编纂审核工作,又主持纂成<四库全书总目>及<四库全书简明目录>,并先后主持文渊阁、文源阁和文津阁<四库全书>的复校事宜以及各阁<四库全书>的补遗工作,成为纂修工作中惟一始终其事而总其成者,为<四库全书>的修成及其完善作出了不可磨灭的贡献.

Ji Yun and Complete Collection in Four Treasuries

The compilation of Complete Collection in Four Treasuries during the Qianlong Times in Qing Dynasty is the greatest cultural enterprise in the Chinese ancient history.Ji Yun,a famous scholar,uniquely participating in the activity from start to finish,made indelible contribution to compling and editing this collection.He not only took on everything,gave the outline and took charge of the compiling and auditing of the book,but also presided the compilation of General Catalogue of Works in the Complete Collection of the Four Treasuries and Abridged Catalogue of Works in the Complete Collection of the Four Treasuries.Moreover,he also took charge of the matters concerned collating the book again in Wen-yuan Pavilion in the Forbidden City,Wen-yuan Pavilion in Yuanmingyuan Park and Wen-jin Pavilion in Chengde successively and the addendum work of the book in all the seven Pavilions.
