宋代功臣配享述论

A Study on Gongchen Peixiang in Song Dynasty

Peixiang(previliges) was not only the most important recompense for Gongchen(officials of merit) in the ancient time,but also the significant way to inspire others and guide political opinion.A kind of distinguishing system of Peixiang,which inherited the practice of the preceding dynasties,brought on in Song Dynasty.Sovereigns selected officials of merit carefully according to the principle of worshipping ancestral temple and recovering other officers.There were intimate relations between politics and Peixiang on officials of merit,because it embodied the change of political surroundings in Song Dynasty,and at the same time,reflected ideology of sovereign and officials.
