论世界主义思想的历史形态

本文从政治观念、宗教信仰、学术研究以及意识形态、价值取向等角度分析了世界主义的社会根源、历史形态和发展趋势，揭示了世界主义由亚洲西部、欧洲南部和西部向整个欧洲和美国扩展，最终实现由西方中心主义向全球化过渡的真实内涵。作者认为，必须用世界历史的眼光审视当代民族国家及其社会发展的共存与互融问题，让世界主义问题的研究有效地推动人类社会向着和谐、进步与幸福的方向发展。

On the Historical Formations of Cosmopolitanism

From the angles of political ideas, religious beliefs, academic researches, ideologies and values, this article diagnoses cosmopolitanism in terms of social roots, historical formations, development trends and the final transition from Western Centrism to globalization along with its spreading from western Asia, southwestern Europe to the whole Europe and the US. The author holds that we should exam the coexistence and integration of modem nation - states and their social development in the world historical view so as to make the cosmopolitanism research effectively promote harmony, progress and happiness in human society.
