| Abstract: | On December 17 th , 1943, the U.S. President Franklin. D. Roosevelt, officially signed Magnuson Act, which repealed all the Chinese Exclusion Acts that the American government had adopted, issued and executed since 1882. This article probes into the historical background and the origin of the Magnuson Act. It also tries to make an evaluation of the Act itself. |
