A methodology to identify a network of industrial parks in the Ave valley,Portugal

In recent decades in Europe, municipalities have promoted many poorly qualified and widespread industrial parks. These policies have caused various problems such as oversupply of industrial land, obsolescence and high vacancy rates. The future of these sites is uncertain and has become a key issue in planning. Nowadays, policies are focused on upgrading these sites and on implementing regional coordinated practices. This paper describes a methodological approach to identifying a subregional network of industrial parks in the Ave valley, Portugal. The network is based on the parks’ attractiveness and has the purpose of supporting planning policies in terms of upgrading and providing new sites. The approach was based on a multi-criteria analysis whereby the parks were ranked according to their attractiveness considering their coverage in terms of infrastructures, services and accessibility. Results show that the majority of the existing and planned parks, even if upgraded, will not be very attractive and will be limited to a municipal scale due to structural problems related to their location and poor coverage. Moreover, the paper also discusses the challenges in implementing this planning approach at a subregional level. Despite the specificities of the case study, this methodology could be adopted in similar studies.

爵位是汉代法律量刑时的一个重要标准,爵位的有无与高低决定着刑罚的减免与否。本从张家山汉墓竹简《具律》篇中有关内容出发,结合其它出土竹简及相关史料来讨论汉初“爵论”制度在法律规定及司法实践中的表现,并通过与秦律作比较来探讨其变化与根源。

随着我国计划经济体制向市场经济体制的转轨,人们的生活方式和思想观念发生了深刻的变化,从而对大众传播媒体的要求也越来越高。对于党报来说,这既意味着一种机遇,又意味着一种挑战。面对这种形势,如何进行新闻改革,如何运用新兴的科技成果为版面服务,调整经营思想以适应出版发行渠道的变化和广大受众的要求,这些都是党报必须面对的重要课题。     

Using the ‘Grieving’ Process and Learning Journals to Evaluate Students' Responses to Problem-Based Learning in an Undergraduate Geography Curriculum

This paper offers a critical review of the role of the International Network for Learning and Teaching geography in higher education (INLT) in the production of geographical knowledge. Through an examination of the Network's membership and activities, it explores some of the ways in which INLT—as a global virtual group—may be inadvertently perpetuating geographies of oppression through, for example, assumption of Anglo-American modes of educational standards and practice; reinforcement of existing unequal/inequitable social relationships; predominance of English language; and a reliance on technologies that favour wealthy nations and institutions. The paper sets out practical suggestions for postcolonial membership and activity structures designed to overcome difficulties with the Network's existing power/knowledge geometries.     

Deletion/Substitution/Addition (DSA) model selection algorithm applied to the study of archaeological settlement patterning

This paper introduces GIS-based statistical methods for the study of settlement patterning in an archaeological context. The main aspect is an improvement over suboptimal stepwise statistical model selection procedures, with the introduction of a Deletion/Substitution/Addition (DSA) algorithm, a systematic model selection algorithm that provides an optimal model choice. The paper also introduces the combined use of Receiving Operator Characteristic (ROC) curves, and variable ranking as key tools aimed at an understanding of settlement patterning causation. An illustrative case study is provided whereby both a purely environmental and a mixed environmental/historical model (based on settlement hierarchy considerations) are investigated.     

近年来国际旅游学术期刊和论文选题的特征分析

本文汇集了160种国际旅游学界专业杂志名录,从中遴选出35种常见的旅游专业期刊予以简要介绍,并又在其中选取了20种学术杂志在2005～2006年间发表的1043篇论文进行了选题统计,对旅游和休闲方面的4本最有影响的学术杂志刊载的论文被中外学者引用情况进行了统计。最后,简要探讨了我国旅游学术研究“国际化”的问题。     

2009年旅游管理理论研究现状及热点问题窥探——基于2009年人大复印报刊资料《旅游管理》的统计分析

2009年人大复印报刊资料《旅游管理》共全文转载了论文176篇,从这些论文的作者个人信息、选题、研究方法等方面,可窥见我国旅游研究的发展趋势。     

再从引文分析看大陆华侨华人研究——以1999—2008年《华侨华人历史研究》载文为例

本文采用文献计量学方法对《华侨华人历史研究》1999—2008年刊发的372篇论文的引文数量、引文类型、引文年代、半衰期、普赖斯指数、期刊自引率等指标进行统计分析,以反映华侨华人研究的现状和水平。得出结论：《华侨华人历史研究》平均引文率高,研究的实力增强;引文涉猎范围广,但核心区效应不明显;引文类型多样,以图书为主;研究人员利用外文文献的能力需加强;文献知识更新速度慢,应引起文献收藏部门的注意。     

从CSSCI旅游研究文献看旅游学学科发展

文章通过对中文社会科学引文索引1998-2005年度8年间旅游研究论文的统计分析,力图从发文和引文两个方面考察旅游学学科的研究现状及发展趋势,从而为本学科的教育、人才培养、学科建设提供帮助,为制定科学研究发展规划、科研政策提供科学合理的决策参考。
