挖掘初中作文教学的学生潜力

学生作文语意表达不清,枯燥无味,主要是头脑中积累的词汇句子太少。只有让学生多读,才能开拓学生的思路,提高学生的写作能力。知识积累是过程,熟练运用是目的。在习作中,要教育学生恰当运用多种修辞手法表达语意,增强文章的感染力和语言的说服力,使抽象的内容具体形象生动。     

再谈中专诗歌教学

在当今中等职业学校的语文教学中,诗歌应该得到更多的重视和关注。本文以教授课文《声声慢》和《孔雀东南飞》为例,从诗歌教学的诵读和探究两个方面进一步阐述了如何使诗歌教学收到良好的效果,激发学生更大的学习热情。     

1959-1966年上海青年“红旗读书运动”研究

上海青年“红旗读书运动”是全面建设社会主义时期加强青年思想政治教育的一次重要实践,对确立马克思主义在意识形态领域的指导地位具有重要意义。这场读书活动以青年为对象,持续时间长达七年之久,从最初广大青年积极参与,到因国民经济困难而受到影响,再到结合毛泽东著作出版掀起高潮,形成了以党委为核心,共青团、工会等团体密切协作的领导机制,同时建立起多层级的指导委员会,通过思想动员、组织动员以及典型引导的动员机制,加强对青年的思想引领。“红旗读书运动”为党开展思想政治工作积累了丰富经验,对新时代加强青年培养提供了现实启示。     

‘Looking at the Others’: Oscar Wilde and the Reading Gaol Archive

In looking at Wilde and the prison, scholarship has understandably focussed on the lengthy and complex De Profundis, and how the prison experience confirmed or re-shaped Wilde as a writer and thinker. Wilde himself claimed to have been saved by the ‘others’ that he encountered in prison, and these ‘others’ have received scant attention. Who were they? How does a greater knowledge of them supplement our sense of the nineteenth-century prison and of Wilde? This essay looks closely at the Reading Gaol archive, tracing out the lives of some of those with whom Wilde was incarcerated and providing analyses of the prison population in Reading while Wilde was there. Aside from yielding the only known photographs of any of the young working-class men in whom Wilde took an interest, the essay seeks to build a more nuanced reading of Wilde's experience. Above all, the aim is to open out the meanings of the Wilde myth, and, in particular, to offer a more socially inclusive version.

本文考察了大连图书馆所藏沈铭彝《竹岑札记》,确定其并非书籍,而是沈铭彝的一个笔记薄,同时指出了《中国古籍善本书目》的著录错误。     

Decolonizing geographies of travel: Reading James/Jan Morris

Travel writing can produce critical 'in-between' spaces, which contribute to broader cultural politics of postcolonialism, by transgressing and in a preliminary sense deconstructing imperial binaries. These imperial binaries structure subjectivities, on the one hand, and material geographies, on the other. This paper examines such a project, through a reading of travel writing by James/Jan Morris, which shows how processes of decolonizing subjectivities and material geographies may be recursively related. Morris is known for newspaper coverage of the 1953 Everest expedition, for a trilogy on the British Empire, for the autobiographical account of a sex change, and for many travel books and articles; all of which foreground themes of gender and imperialism. The paper argues that Morris's decolonizations have charted and created in-between spaces of subjectivity and material geography, ambivalent spaces with critical potential. The ambivalence of these spaces can constitute a critical limitation, but also an opportunity; in response, the conclusion redirects some critical attention away from writers and textual spaces to readers and interpretations, and thus points towards a postcolonial (and wider) politics of reading.     

胡适《读吕氏春秋》的贡献

写于1930年,后收入《胡适文存三集》卷三的《读吕氏春秋》,是胡适的一篇研究《吕氏春秋》的论文。该文打破了有汉以来研究《吕氏春秋》只重视文本解释的局限,采用了中西比较的思路与方法,从人欲、人性的思想高度审视把握《吕氏春秋》,提出了不少现在看来仍不失为有价值的观点与问题。文章视野开阔,论从史出,文风明白晓畅,易于接受,方法与结论都令人耳目一新,初步改变了以后《吕氏春秋》研究的路向,在近代《吕氏春秋》研究史上具有开拓之功。     

Literacy, reading, and writing in the medieval West

Over the last quarter century, a plethora of studies on literacy, reading, and writing in medieval Europe have contributed significantly to our understanding of medieval society and culture. Nevertheless the sheer number of these studies and their authorship by scholars in several different disciplines have obscured the relationships between these studies, their common themes and their differences. This essay seeks to survey this literature and its background, to explicate its contributions to the field of medieval history, and to suggest avenues for future study. It also reveals how approaches developed outside medieval studies were borrowed and adapted by medievalists, and how the study of literacy, reading, and writing in the Middle Ages has, in turn, influenced the work of ancient and modern historians.
