大运河宁波段聚落文化遗产保护措施研究

聚落文化遗产是大运河遗产的重要组成部分,与运河兴衰息息相关。宁波段运河聚落文化遗产历史久远,保存类型丰富,历史价值突出。宁波运河的开凿和变迁对运河聚落整体格局的形成、演变和发展关系紧密;同时运河聚落的产生和发展也促进了运河功能的不断完善和运河经济的发展。如何保护好运河聚落文化遗产已经成为重要的研究课题。本文意在梳理宁波段运河聚落文化遗产的构成情况,并对宁波段运河聚落文化遗产的科学保护提出了可行性建议。     

对加强大学生安全教育的思考

安全是人生中非常重要的一部分,是人们生存发展的保障。安全对于每个人而言都是人生的一门必修课,社会中的每个个体都应纳入安全教育体系中。但是近年来,校园安全事故频频发生,让人震惊。所以在诸多安全问题中,大学生的安全问题凸显出来。大学生的安全意识为何如此淡薄,学校的安全教育存在哪些问题,这已经成为人们关注的焦点。大学生的安全教育不仅是大学生自我保护的需要,也是确保高校秩序稳定,促进国家发展、构建和谐社会的需要。因此,学校必须从多方面加强对大学生的安全教育,落到实处,只有这样才能真正提高大学生的安全意识,促进其身心健康发展。     

中专英语教学探讨

当前中专英语教学现状不容乐观。造成这一现状的原因是多方面的。文章就中专学校的生源及其素质、中专学校英语教师的素质与水平及中专学校对英语教学的态度等三个方面的因素对中专英语教学的影响阐述自己的观点并提出了提高英语教学质量的对策。     

Scalar Structure-Specific Ground Motion Intensity Measures for Assessing the Seismic Performance of Structures: A Review

The assessment of the seismic performance depends on the choice of the earthquake Intensity Measure (IM). During the past years many IMs, which take into account not only earthquake characteristics but also structural information, have been proposed. However, no consensus on which IM is the best predictor of the seismic response exists. Along these lines, the objective of this paper is to present the various developed scalar structure-specific seismic IMs and the problems associated with their use in practice, so that the engineer may become familiar with them and their implications in the context of Performance-Based Earthquake Engineering.     

福建省海岛旅游的特点与开发利用设想

福建省具有十分丰富的海岛旅游资源,其开发利用近年来越来越为人们所重视。本文在实地调查的基础上,阐述了福建海岛旅游资源的基本类型和主要内容,从规模、功能、分布、组合等方面对其主要特点进行了分析和评价,指出了其开发利用中存在的主要问题,提出了以开发海滨沙滩为核心,以度假旅游为主要方向的福建海岛旅游资原开发利用的总体设想和对策措施。     

Selection of the Most Unfavorable Real Ground Motions for Low- and Mid-rise RC Frame Structures

The goal of this article is to select those real (or recorded) ground motions capable of exposing the low- and mid-rise reinforced concrete frame structures to an extreme limit state. By performing correlation analyses, two optimal intensity measures are first selected to represent the ground motion damage potential. Then based on each record's damage potential, four subsets of strong ground motions, referred to as the most unfavorable ground motions, are identified and preliminarily confirmed to be applicable to the low- and mid-rise RC frame structures.     

Beijing’s institutional-balancing strategies: rationales,implementation and efficacy

China has in recent years been actively engaged in multilateral diplomacy. From the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia to the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and the One Belt, One Road initiative, Beijing is pursuing strategies and promoting norms that are viewed as concerted efforts by China to challenge some of the key institutional arrangements of the existing international order. This article seeks to discuss these contentious issues and assess the rationales, approaches and implications of Chinese diplomacy in initiating and promoting what can be considered as institutional-balancing strategies. The author suggests that the rationales behind these Chinese strategies have as much to do with Beijing’s shifting priorities and the need to address them as with reflecting a degree of dissatisfaction with existing multilateral institutions. And there are more marked differences in Chinese motivations and modalities in security arenas than in economic areas. However, it would be overstating Beijing’s intentions and capabilities if these China-sponsored initiatives are viewed as direct challenges to the existing international and regional orders.     

秦汉度量衡制度的考古学研究

秦汉时期是中国度量衡发展史上的重要时期,自商鞅变法实施"平斗桶、权衡、丈尺"的政策以来,秦汉帝国在全国范围内大力推行度量衡的统一。本文依据出土和传世的度量衡实物对秦汉时期的度量衡制度作了探讨,并概述其特点,如"以度审容"、进位关系、测量基准等等,由此可以看出秦汉时期奠定了中国古代度量衡制度发展的基础。     

Critical Assessment of Intensity Measures for Seismic Response of Italian RC Bridge Portfolios

The seismic assessment of a road network depends largely on the characterization of the fragility of its bridge components. The accuracy of bridge seismic demand estimates and the use of proper intensity measures (IM) will significantly influence such task. The available literature has mainly focused on buildings or a limited number of bridge configurations and IMs, which may not be representative for bridge portfolio assessment studies. In this paper, the correlation quality between a larger pool of traditional and innovative IMs and the nonlinear dynamic response of typical Italian RC bridges is investigated to identify the best-performing IMs.     

Robust Period-Independent Ground Motion Selection and Scaling for Effective Seismic Design and Assessment

A period-independent approach for the selection and scaling of ground motion records aimed at reducing demand variability is proposed for seismic response history analysis. The same set of scaled records can be used to study various structures at the same site regardless of their dynamic characteristics. The statistical robustness of the proposed and current approaches is compared through nonlinear inelastic dynamic analyses performed on single-degree-of-freedom systems and multi-story braced frames. The proposed approach leads to consistent response predictions with a limited number of records. This is advantageous for day-to-day structural design or assessment against code hazard-based seismic demand levels.
