Italy and the politics of European defence: playing by the logic of multi‐level networks

The article looks at the role of Italy in the decision‐making arena of the EU Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP), analysing the initiatives it put in place to address and influence the construction of a common defence. The article aims to explain the ability or inability of Italy to build up a consensus around its proposals. By studying two initiatives in the field of European defence and security, it seeks to determine the factors which resulted in the differing outcomes of Italian actions at the European level.     

Similarity of the flora of the Erie Islands: implications for conservation biology

Using a compiled list of the vascular flora for 21 islands in the western basin of Lake Erie, Preston's resemblance measure and Connor and Simberlof's Null Hypothesis I were applied to native and alien species subsets in order to examine how these findings fit within the equilibrium theory. Based on Preston's measure, it was found that the similarity of species between island pairs was more likely to fit with MacArthur and Wilson's equilibrium theory when native species were considered than when alien species were considered. Native species have restricted distributions - especially those found on the smaller islands - and appear to be less randomly distributed about the islands. This study also found that a large component of the alien flora is widespread in its distribution, and appears to be randomly distributed among most of the islands.     

陈序经的文化“一致与和谐”理论

陈序经在吸收西方文化思想的基础上 ,创立了文化的“一致与和谐”理论。这一理论认为 ,文化在空间和时间上 ,都含有一致与和谐 ;假使两种或两种以上的文化接触起来 ,其结果和趋势也是一致与和谐 ,而程度不等的两种文化相接触 ,则是低者被高者逐渐代替的一致 ;一致与和谐之所以存在 ,是由于创造文化的个人的相同相异造成的。从某种程度上来说 ,正是根据这一理论 ,陈序经得出了他的“全盘西化”观。由于这一理论既有对文化认识的某种合理性 ,又存在着严重的误区 ,那么 ,在此之上的“全盘西化”观也必然具有这样的两面性     

资源,神权与文明的兴衰

根据当代流行的马克思主义考古学分析观念,上层建筑和经济基础都会对复杂社会的演进或衰亡起重要的作用。本文尝试从资源和神权这两个概念来探讨早期文明兴衰的动力,并讨论良渚文化消失和中国文明演进地域差异的原因。     

分层融合视角下族群融合的弥合机制研究——以新加坡华族为例

在“沙拉碗”式融合理念下,新加坡华族内部存在的诸多融合裂痕,也使华族新成员面临融合困境。论文借鉴分层融合理论中的弥合思路,分析了新加坡社会中的制度性、组织性及互惠网络弥合机制及成效,总结了新加坡华族新移民的融合模式,探讨了其中政府政策与社会接纳间的关系以及亚文化的形成。     

先秦管理思想中的利益论

许多先秦学(史称先秦诸子)在研究管理问题时,认识到了存在于管理与民众之间的利益问题具有三个内在的规定性。他们认为,管理只有正确认识了利益问题的内在规定性,才能处理好管理与民众之间的利益关系,才能使自己所追求的管理事业获得成功。
