安徽省旅游中心城市现状与发展对策研究

本文通过对安徽省旅游业发展缺少辐射带动全省的旅游中心城市这一现状和省会合肥自身所具备的各项资源和条件分析,指出将合肥市建成安徽省旅游中心城市是"十一五"期间安徽省旅游业实现跨越式发展的战略选择。同时研究提出了合肥市建设旅游中心城市的若干对策。     

THE FOOD VALUE CHAIN AS A LOCUS FOR (DIS)AGREEMENT: CONVENTIONS AND QUALITIES IN THE SPANISH WINE AND NORWEGIAN SALTED COD INDUSTRIES

According to the theory of conventions, food value chains (FVCs) involve a complex array of actors who share an agreement about the qualities embodied in their particular foodstuff. Nevertheless, that agreement is continuously challenged by changes in consumer markets. Therefore, I argue that FVCs able to adapt those qualities to new trends will perform better than FVCs whose commitment to certain qualities leads to a misunderstanding between producers and consumers. The organization of the chain itself, the values of national regulatory frameworks, and the goals of the national innovation system are discussed as factors that shape an FVCs' ability to re‐arrange that core agreement. By using professional reports, statistical records and personal interviews, this article focuses on two FVCs that have experienced contrasting trajectories in recent decades in the Spanish market: the wine industry located in the region of Castile and Leon (Spain) and the Norwegian salted cod industry. The growing wine FVC has achieved a successful agreement about a set of qualities linked to nature, tradition, and place, all of them guaranteed by the reputation of the Designation of Origin (DO) system. In contrast, the salted cod FVC is losing its market share because its main actors are failing to properly communicate the key qualities of environmental sustainability and artisanal cod production to concerned Spanish consumers, as well as in the adoption of the place‐related attributes that still shape consumer preferences in Spain.

清代木船业的衰落和中国轮船航运业的兴起

晚清中国的巨变之一,是西力东渐后中国社会经济结构引发的一系列变化。西方轮船在中国水域中的出现和强力竞争,导致中国传统木船业衰落。西方轮船同时是外国列强在中国获取势力范围的外在表现。在内忧外患双重压力下,中国自己的轮船航运业冲破重重阻碍终于得以诞生,这是中国社会大机器工业时代开始的象征,也是中国社会发生重大变革的表现之一。     

Replacing a Father: civilian aspects of the Swedish military, 1600–1800

Early modern society was characterized by severe conflicts, but not all were caused by antagonistic relations between military (combatants) and civilian (noncombatants) persons. The civil–military relations were blurred. The separation and differentiation of civil and military functions in society was a process that occurred mainly in the 19th century. This process coincided with a conceptual change of the nature of gender: ‘civil’ became feminine and ‘military’ became masculine. Civil–military relations in early modern societies have recently been the focus of novel and productive research, and this article falls into that category. How civilian aspects of society were subordinated to military demands while still being a part of the military is examined in this article from a different angle; namely, to what extent the military was in charge of civilian aspects within its own organization. This is discussed from a gender perspective and scrutinized through the role of children in a series of issues connected with the creation of boundaries between civilian and military spheres in society. To put it simply, what did children do within the Swedish military in the 17th and 18th centuries? And who were the children? The answers are based on data from garrisons and the Swedish Ship’s Boys’ Corps, together with data from previous research on military history in Scandinavia. The article is part of a project that aims to make visible the role of children in the military prior to the era of child soldiers.     

High-Tech Centre in the Periphery: The Political,Economic and Cultural Factors behind the Emergence and Development of the Oulu ICT Phenomenon in Northern Finland

The Oulu region in Northern Finland has witnessed a remarkable growth of ICT industries since the 1980s. A town near the Arctic Circle with only 140,000 people (2012) created a high-tech business that employed at its best nearly 16,000 people in the region at the millennium. This article investigates the historical background of this phenomenon, which is not so much an imitation of Silicon Valley, but rather a result of special Finnish and northern characteristics. The most important contributing factors were the University of Oulu, governmental support and the success of the Nokia Corporation. Oulu's strength was the early clustering of the focal actors. Oulu established the first Technology Park in the Nordic countries in 1982. The northern mental environment, Oulu's traditions and many exceptionally active persons also contributed to the phenomenon. The case of Oulu is presented in a larger international context with the help of studies on regional high-tech clusters and the development of the information society. Present and future challenges are also addressed.     

20世纪前期宜兴陶业史料钩沉及泥片成型

自晚清以来,首先由一些外国人开始关注、著录宜兴陶业。到20世纪前期,中国人对于窑口、产品、工艺等宜兴陶业情况的文献记录逐渐涌现,其中包括宜兴制陶环节中最具特色的泥片成型工艺。传统泥片成型工艺虽延续至今,但以如今的制作方法与之相比,诸多方面和细节已逐渐改变,甚至消失。宜兴窑业传统工艺的传承与保护,任重而道远。     

上海会议产业国际竞争力评价的实证研究

本文研究国际会议产业竞争力评价指标体系的构建。本文通过问卷调查和专家意见对评价体系的各构成指标的重要性进行打分,运用因子分析法调整国际会议产业竞争力评价指标体系框架,并确定适用的评价指标体系。同时,通过对亚洲上海、新加坡、香港三大城市的实证研究以验证这一指标体系的适用性,指出上海目前在发展国际会议产业过程中还存在的差距。     

青海省特色产业高层次人才队伍建设思考

高层次人才队伍建设是推动青海特色产业发展的核心。本文在分析青海特色产业高层次人才队伍建设现状的基础上,探索了适合青海省特色产业发展背景下高层次人才队伍建设的规律,提出了相应的对策。
