Managing the gendered dynamics of parenting during the UK New Labour government years

This article considers what a ‘structure of feeling’ approach can reveal about the gendered dynamics of parenting during the ‘New Labour’ years of the UK government. It explores some of the ways in which contestations about gender roles were evident in policy and in popular cultural discourses and demonstrates how these discourses both contained their own internal tensions and contradicted each other. It then reflects on the strategies that parents engaged in need to make sense of and manage these contestations and makes clear some of the pressures that had come to bear through policy and popular culture on parents' personal lives.     

建水指林寺大殿木构件材种鉴定及配置研究

木材树种的鉴定是古木结构建筑维修和保护的基础性工作。为配合建水县指林寺大殿修缮保护的需要,为修缮树种选用提供依据,了解木文化的特点。本研究对建水指林寺大殿古建筑主要木构件进行了树种鉴定及对材种配置调查分析。采用切片、显微镜拍照、宏观和微观特征分析等方法,对700个试样进行了树种鉴定。结果表明建水指林寺大殿的木构件共有4个树种,分别是硬木松(Pinus sp.)、白青冈(Cyclobalanopsis sp.)、格木(Erythrophleum sp.)和荷木(Schima sp.)。通过材种配置分析可得指林寺大殿木构件在选材方面达到很高水平,不仅反应了建造年代,而且体现修缮的特性。     

人力资本结构、物质资本与经济增长

人力资本作为经济增长的一个重要因素,除了要考虑其总量与经济增长的关系外,还要考虑人力资本的结构对经济增长的影响。本文分析了我国不同层次的人力资本对经济增长的影响,并根据计量的结果和我国东、中、西部地区现有的人力资本结构情况,对各地区的人力资本培养战略和产业结构调整的方向给出了相应的政策、建议。     

New morphological information about Cretaceous sauropod dinosaurs from the Eromanga Basin,Queensland, Australia

New observations on various sauropod postcranial elements from Queensland provide insights into the taxonomic composition of northern Australia's sauropod fauna and the structure of sauropod vertebrae. An incomplete sauropod humerus from a site near Blackall, Queensland, represents the southernmost occurrence of sauropod fossils in the Eromanga Basin, and indicates a possibly new taxon. The internal architecture of at least one of the vertebral centra of Austrosaurus mckillopi comprises bony disks parallel to the posterior articular face and bony lamellae perpendicular to the anterior articular face reinforcing the structure against axial forces. The lack of pneumaticity proximally in dorsal ribs indicates that A. mckillopi may not be a titanosauriform. Material (QM F6737) from the Winton Formation includes probable osteoderms, the first known from Australian sauropods, and some of the oldest known. Comparison of this specimen with named Winton Formation sauropods suggests that it represents a distinct taxon.     

A ‘Small Free Trade Oasis’?: agriculture,tariff policy,and the Danish example in Great Britain and Ireland,c. 1885–1911

During the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Denmark was an important overseas example in the United Kingdom's intertwined debates over free trade and agricultural modernization. Both countries remained open to foreign agricultural imports even as many other European states protected their farmers. But whilst British and Irish agriculture struggled, Denmark became a hugely successful exporter of dairy and pork. This achievement of rural prosperity under a liberal trade regime had obvious relevance to the future of agriculture in Britain, and particularly Ireland. Agricultural reformers in the two islands used the Danish example to show that technical education and co-operative production would allow farmers to profit even under free trade, whilst for British Liberals, ideologically committed to free trade, Denmark demonstrated that imported foodstuffs were actually a prerequisite for a flourishing rural economy. Several prominent Danish free traders personally intervened in the early 20th-century debate over tariff reform to affirm these very points. However, British and Irish protectionists contested the ‘free trade’ character of Denmark's fiscal policy. The article situates the Danish comparison within a broader Anglo-Scandinavian transnationalism, in which the themes of modernity and liberalism reside to the fore.     

基于性别制度的中国城市结构的历史演变

本文从中国性别制度和城市结构的历史变迁出发,通过对中国封建社会、半殖民地半封建社会、社会主义计划经济时期、社会主义市场经济时期四个历史阶段的女性生活和城市特征进行考察,分析了不同的性别结构与城市空间结构之间的关系,即:以及在不同的性别制度下女性社会生活在城市空间中的具体体现,即:集权制城市中女性空间的附属性、二元城市中女性空间的隔离性、单位制城市中性别空间的同一性、消费性城市中女性空间的主导性。随着消费文化的发展,女性将对中国城市化进程和空间结构演化产生越来越重要的影响。     

改革开放以来上海社会空间结构演化的特征与趋势

基于第三次和第五次全国人口普查数据,采用因子生态分析方法,对1982年和2000年的上海社会空间结构以及改革开放以来上海社会空间结构演化的特征与趋势进行了研究。结果显示,1982年上海社会空间结构模式相对简单,市区和郊区各自具有较强的同质性;2000年社会空间结构则趋于复杂,异质性特征明显增强,各类社会区间的圈层分布成为主导模式,并呈现指状空间扩散特征。在此基础上,论文从能动者和结构两个层面揭示了上海社会空间结构演化的内在机制。     

基于旅游行为的旅游目的地空间层次与管理

关于旅游目的地的空间研究比较丰富,视点主要在于经济与地理空间。但是,旅游业是市场导向非常明显的行业,从旅游行为角度研究旅游目的地的空间层次更具有现实意义,对指导旅游目的地的开发和管理更具有操作性。本论文从旅游行为导向、管理方便性角度,融入社区理念,提出了新的旅游目的地解读,将其划分为三个空间层次,即游览服务区、社区服务区和社会服务区,并分析了它的空间层次结构关系和主要要素。论文最后从规范管理角度提出管理层次与关系。
