基于项目管理的企业危机处理应用分析

当前,企业面临各种不同的危机,而企业在危机处理过程中普遍存在着一些缺陷,现代项目管理理论的发展,为改善企业危机处理提供了现实的可能性,本文针对项目管理在企业危机处理中的应用进行了初步的探讨。     

区域生态经济规划若干问题研究

区域生态经济规划的研究工作在我国始于20世纪80年代,起步较晚,仍处于初级阶段。本文从规划的主要对象、指导思想、理论依据、追求目标、所处阶段等方面比较了区域生态经济规划的差异,指出区域生态经济规划必须遵循整体性、区域性、市场经济、技术进步与创新、三效益并重统一、以人为本等基本原则,论述了区域生态经济规划的基本内容和编制程序,最后对编制好区域生态经济规划提出了三条建议,即:①加强领导,组织强有力的规划队伍;②抓住关键问题,不要面面俱到;③因地制宜,从实际出发。     

Effects of U.S. States' Social Welfare Systems on Population Health

Social scientists have studied the welfare state extensively. Many studies seek to understand the determinants of the welfare state; however, a few have explored the social consequences of social welfare systems, especially on health outcomes of the population. Even though cross-national comparative studies support the thesis that the welfare state regime type, which represents different levels of commitment on social welfare, is closely linked to population health, there is little research to support this argument at a sub-national level. To fill the gap, this study explores the effects of the U.S. states' social welfare systems on health using age-adjusted mortality rates as a proxy for population health. By operationalizing social welfare systems as three dimensions—public expenditures, tax structures, and welfare program rules—we find that more generous education spending, progressive tax systems, and more lenient welfare program rules help to improve population health. The model corrects for first-order serial correlation using Prais-Winsten regression methods and is estimated with state and year-fixed effects.

影视旅游者旅游动机研究--铁岭龙泉山庄旅游者实证分析

影视旅游是指人们由于受影视剧的影响而对影视拍摄地产生兴趣,进而到该地旅游的现象。影视旅游的产生受到影视剧剧情及剧中象征物的直接影响,游客的出游动机主要为了印证自己在影视剧中的所见所闻。本文通过对龙泉山庄旅游者旅游动机的调查研究发现:影视剧是推动游客前去龙泉山庄游览的主要因素,影视剧象征物对游客旅游动机的形成有明显的推动作用;影视旅游者出游的主要动机是印证,"寻梦"、"寻找优美的环境"和"逃避"是出游的次要动机。     

South African Nuclear Development in the 1970s: A Non-Proliferation Conundrum?

ABSTRACT

The 1970s is often argued to be the era marking the beginning of the overall transformation of the international system and the nuclear order, following the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty (NPT) entering into force in 1970. South Africa challenged this nuclear order from the outset. In addition to regarding the NPT as inherently discriminatory and hypocritical in allowing a difference between nuclear weapon ‘haves’ and ‘have-nots’, the South African apartheid regime felt threatened by Soviet expansionism into Southern Africa. Facing international condemnation and isolation due to its repressive domestic politics of racial segregation, and gripped in a war against Soviet- and Cuban-backed forces in Angola, the apartheid regime was quick to move from a decision to build one peaceful nuclear explosive device in 1974, to a formal decision in 1978 to design and develop a secret strategic nuclear deterrent. Using knowledge and skills acquired during a period of techno-nationalism and Western collaboration during the 1960s, South Africa was able to cross this threshold in a relatively short space of time, thereby signaling a clear departure from the nuclear non-proliferation regime that the five nuclear powers of the NPT were trying to establish.     

Children's agency in resettlement: a study of Swedish cultural orientation programs in Kenya and Sudan

The focus of this study is cultural orientation programs (COPs) for refugees being resettled from Kenya and Sudan in Sweden in 2011. This study aims to highlight how, if at all, children's agency was facilitated during the COPs. The programs were video recorded in order to look at the continuous negotiations during the meetings between the Swedish delegation and the children and youth. The concept of thick and thin agency is used in order to understand how sometimes the overall context of the program as a part of the resettlement process thins the agency of the children.     

A new phoenix? Large plants regeneration policies in Italy

The fall of employment in manufacturing that the world's most advanced economies have been experiencing in the past 40 years has triggered a number of policies, undertaken in several countries. In this paper, we evaluate the effectiveness of a place-based policy, carried out in Italy, aimed at both generating private investments and increasing employment in areas affected by deep industrial decline. By means of an instrumental variable identification strategy, we show that the program has been largely unsuccessful.
