This article presents a statistical study on strength reduction factors for seismic-isolated bridges in far-fault areas. 1410 ground motions are selected and modified to be compatible with the recommended response spectra. Then, they are divided into 60 groups to investigate the effects of PGA/PGV ratios, soil conditions and post-to-pre-yield stiffness ratio. Results show that reduction factors are significantly affected by the PGA/PGV ratio, while the latter two items are not as important as the first one. Finally, an improved equation to estimate the reduction factor is proposed, and the accuracy of the equation is verified by additional records. 相似文献
Li, Y., Liu, X., Ren, D., Li, X. & Yao, Y., June 2016. First report of Cixiidae insect fossils from the Miocene of the northeastern Tibetan Plateau and their palaeoenvironmental implications. Alcheringa 41, xxx–xxx. ISSN 0311-5518.
A new insect species, Cixius discretus (Hemiptera, Fulgoromorpha), from the Lower Miocene Garang Formation of Zeku County, Qinghai Province (northeastern Tibetan Plateau) is described. This species can be assigned to Cixiidae and represents the first fossil representative of this family from Qinghai Province. Based on the recent single-origin hypothesis and the distribution of tectonic plates in the Cretaceous, we consider that ancient Cixius had dispersed globally prior to the Cretaceous. Through analysis of the habitats of extant Cixius, the palaeoclimate and fossil flora of the Zeku area during the Miocene, we interpret the climate of Zeku in the early Miocene to have been warm-temperate and mildly arid. The new species constitutes evidence of wooded and shrubby habitats in Zeku during the Miocene.

Archaeology of ancient China’s periphery has traditionally been examined through the historiographic lens of Chinese textual
sources. Social developments in the periphery are often explained in relation to accounts of migration from “core” regions
of China. Setting conventional paradigms and textual sources aside, this article examines prehistoric developments in southwestern
China in conjunction with broader trends in Southeast Asia. This comparative approach reveals that the development of bronze
metallurgy in southwestern China parallels trends observed among Neolithic communities in Southeast Asia. Using recent data
and a reassessment of radiocarbon dates for the Bronze Age, I propose that sociopolitical complexity emerged in southwestern
China as part of a multiregional phenomenon that had its beginning with the formalization of trade networks during the Neolithic
period. 相似文献
Modern China was an intense period of “body rebuilding.” Within the field of body history in China, the modern Chinese history
has been rediscovered and reinterpreted from the view of “body.” In this paper, the author attempts to explore the movement
of women’s haircutting in modern China and analyzes its social and political meaning from the view of body organ, gender,
politics and culture. The conclusion is that the women’s haircutting movement in modern China was involved in the pursuit
of state power, women’s rights, and political power in different levels. 相似文献
