佛像,是佛陀塑像的简称。最初为释迦摩尼去世后,弟子为了纪念和瞻仰而雕刻的造像,后来逐渐演变为佛门弟子纪念那些因佛法修行而成为大觉悟者、大智慧者的造像。

＂金石＂一词,泛指古代镌刻文字、颂功纪事的钟鼎碑碣。金石铭刻,不仅具有重要的文献史料价值,而且也是我国古代书法艺术的一座宝库。     

明代林良枯木雄鹰图的接笔修复

林良,明代著名宫廷画家,弘治间供奉内廷直仁智殿,官锦衣卫指挥,以擅画花鸟著称。林良的花鸟画,延承南宋画风,工水墨写意。取材多是各类禽鸟及古树枯木、寒塘芦荻等山野江湖景色,以表现大自然中的野逸之趣。构图壮阔,用笔沉着痛快,水墨淋漓,充满激情。开水墨写意画之先河,是明代院体花鸟画变革的代表画家,亦是岭南画派的始祖。一.林良"四时花鸟大中堂"的去霉修复     

彰显与重塑——佛山盐步老龙礼俗的调查与研究

明朝万历年间,佛山南海盐步老龙与广州泮塘龙舟因一次大型龙舟比赛而结缘,因对比赛结果的谦让而结契：根据两条龙船所造时间之先后、历史之长短来划分辈分,盐步老龙因时间久远被尊为“契爷”（干爹）,年轻的泮塘龙舟甘为“契仔”（干儿子）,并择日簪花挂红,举行隆重的结拜仪式。在以后的每年端午节期间,“契爷”、“契仔”互相探访,仪式隆崇,场面壮观,彰显和重塑了南海盐步老龙厚重的文化习俗。     

Fusulinoideans from the early Midian (late Middle Permian) Metadoliolina dutkevitchi-Monodiexodina sutchanica Zone of the Senkina Shapka section,South Primorye,Far East Russia

Fusulinoideans from the Metadoliolina dutkevitchi-Monodiexodina sutchanica Zone of the lower part of the Chandalaz Formation in the Senkina Shapka section in South Primorye, Far East Russia, are described. The fusulinoidean zone is assigned to the early Midian (=Capitanian: late Middle Permian) based mainly on the morphologie and biostratigraphic characteristics of Metadoliolina dutkevitchi. Previously, a Midian age has been established for the Metadoliolina dutkevitchi-Monodiexodina sutchanica Zone by the coexistence of Lepidolina species. However, the occurrence of Lepidolina with the two zonal species in this area has not been verified by the illustration of Lepidolina specimens. We examined a fusulinoidean-bearing sample from the Metadoliolina dutkevitchi-Monodiexodina sutchanica Zone, and three fusulinoidean species, Monodiexodina sutchanica, Pseudofusulina sp. and Metadoliolina dutkevitchi, are de-scribed and illustrated.     

First records of Wuchiapingian (Late Permian) conodonts in the Xainza area,Lhasa Block,Tibet, and their palaeobiogeographic implications

Conodonts are among the best fossil groups to provide high-resolution biostratigraphic correlation and resolve the palaeobiogeographic evolution of the Permian. However, they have been rarely reported from the Lhasa Block in Tibet. Here we report the first discovery of Wuchiapingian (early Lopingian) conodonts from the Xiala Formation in the Lhasa Block, Tibet. This conodont fauna includes two genera and three species (Clarkina liangshanensis, C. orientalis, Iranognathus sp.). The conodont fauna indicates that the Xiala Formation previously assigned to the Guadalupian actually ranges from late Kungurian to late Wuchiapingian. The existence of the late Wuchiapingian conodont species Clarkina orientalis and C. liangshanensis in the Lhasa Block provides additional data to support the viewpoint that this block probably had been in a warm-water regime during the Wuchiapingian (Lopingian).

三 顾老是中国图书馆事业的前辈,德高望重,他一生辛勤从事图书馆事业.他是怎么会和图书馆结下不解之缘的呢?顾老在《纪念袁同礼先生百龄冥诞》一文中曾说:"一九二九年北平图书馆新馆落成,其址与北海相邻,美轮美奂,藏书丰富,编目和管理等均采用新法,与世界先进国家相应接,为我国第一所新型的图书馆.

顾老走了,永远地走了.这是所有认识他和了解他的人十分遗憾的.顾老是1998年8月22日晚上9时6分病逝于北京人民医院的.24日晨9时(美国东部时间为23日晚9时)上海图书馆办公室即时将这个消息用电话通知了我,次日我即向哈佛燕京图书馆馆长请假,并向旅行社订购飞往北京的机票,赶在追悼仪式的前一天下午抵达北京.

郑振铎先生在40年代初致蒋复璁先生的所有信件,都保存在台北的中央图书馆特藏组.我在1999年4月,应台北中央研究院文哲所的邀请,前去进行学术交流,期间又在央馆参观访问,重点就是阅览郑振铎致蒋复璁的信.     

西汉帝陵陵地秩序

关于西汉帝陵陵地的分布原则讨论颇多,但是总的说来,无外乎是陵地的安排存在昭穆制度与否。二者争论的焦点集中在西汉是否存在昭穆制度、其昭穆次序如何以及西汉帝陵的朝向对昭穆排列的影响等方面。在我们看来,双方意见都存在问题。问题的症结在於这两种观点考虑的都只是十一座西汉帝陵,忽视了汉太上皇万年陵,没有把万年陵纳入西汉帝陵的系统进行研究。
