试论钱穆与胡适的交谊及其学术论争

在中国现代学术思想史上,钱穆与胡适是两种不同类型的学者,一个是新文化运动的领袖,西化派的代表人物;一个是传统史学派的大家、文化民族主义史学的代表人物。本文以钱穆眼中的胡适为切入点,分析了不同时期两人的学术关联及其文化观的异同,认为钱穆对胡适的评价经历了一个由尊崇到疏离再到公开批评的转变过程,研究这个转变过程,对于20世纪的中国学术思想史而言,应是一件有意义的事。     

抗战胜利前后国民政府忠烈祠功能之嬗变——以江苏省为例

忠烈祠是国民政府为祭祀在战争中为国家忠勇牺牲的官兵和民众的神圣场所.国民党江苏省地方各县市筹建忠烈祠的活动经历了抗战胜利前后两个不同的历史时期.国民政府根据变化了的社会、政治环境,对忠烈祠功能进行了有利于自身利益的诠释.忠烈祠功能的嬗变,使民众与政府之间在国家象征体系的构造上,产生了或互补、或冲突的关系.这对江苏地方忠烈祠的筹建产生了深层影响,从而导致前后两个时期不同的建祠结果.     

Revisiting the South Korean developmental state after the 1997 financial crisis

This study reassesses the conventional wisdom surrounding the developmental state of South Korea (hereafter Korea) since the 1997 Korean financial crisis. The conventional wisdom is that, as a result of the continued structural reforms prompted by the crisis, the Korean developmental state, inherently characterised by active or direct state intervention, strong economic and industrial policies, the chaebol-oriented economic policy, and labour exclusion, has finally begun to dissolve in earnest. In this study, we have considered whether that is really the case and also which theoretical implications can be drawn from this consideration. Analysis of the Korean developmental state following the 1997 crisis has indicated that, quite contrary to conventional wisdom, the developmental state has continued to prevail as a core policy framework of the Korean administrations even after the crisis. There is no doubt that the continued structural and market reform after the crisis certainly undermined the Korean developmental state to a certain degree, but that does not mean the beginning of the end of the Korean developmental state at all. For much evidence strongly indicates that the Korean developmental state still remains intact and strong despite the structural reforms, on account of the successive Korean governments’ assiduous and deliberate efforts to maintain and reinforce it. Even after the crisis, the Kim Dae-Jung and post-Kim regimes have hardly abandoned many of their market interventionist policies. Such market interventionist policies, which were routinely practised under the military regime in the 1960s and 1970s, diametrically contravene the argument that the Korean developmental state has begun to dissolve as a result of structural reform after the 1997 crisis. Contrary to conventional wisdom, the Korean developmental state persists as usual. All this information, then, suggests that path dependence is in action in the case of the Korean developmental state, and this suggests a further hypothesis that the Korean developmental state is very likely to persist in the future as well, despite increasing globalisation pressure, given the strong path dependence.     

中共建党与近代上海社会

1921年7月,中共一大在上海召开。作为工业化、现代化和国际化都市的上海,为中共成立提供了最适宜的地理环境。以上海工人为主体的中国工人阶级的壮大和阶级觉悟的提高,为共产党的创建奠定阶级基础。上海发达的媒介网络为马克思主义的早期传播提供便利条件。伴随新文化运动的勃兴,上海成为先进知识分子的集聚与活动中心。以陈独秀为核心的《新青年》编辑部和马克思主义研究会则为中共上海发起组提供基本成员,上海发起组实际担当了组建中共的临时中央。中共在上海的成立是上海近代化的结果。共产党的成立及其初期的活动,构成上海近代史的华章。     

曹操与原始道教

汉魏之际的历史变迁杂而多端,但在表层的历史运动之下始终潜伏着一条宗教神学的隐线索。曹操收编太平道、抚接五斗米道势力,集中控制方士,乃至挟天子,目的皆在暗争天命。曹魏欣赏曹操真人之号,具有同样的宗教政治内涵。曹操一生所经营之天命在吾的魏氏圣化大业,随曹丕黄初元年受禅而得实现。从曹操势力兴起以至汉魏禅代,其间许多重大历史事件与原始道教牵涉至深。     

南宋著名诗人范成大“陂陀天海”砚考

家藏古砚中有一方墨渍满面的歙砚,镌＂持节风霜十九年＂铭,刻苏武牧羊像和＂山中＂＂居士＂印款的石砚。清洗观赏后方感到砚石的纹理奇而美,便萌生考证之念。

汉帝国与东亚世界:以出土印章为线索

2010年2月27日至3月4日,欧洲科学基金会(European Science Foundation,简称ESF)和日本学术振兴会(Japan Society for the Promotion of Science,简称JSPS)在日本福冈联合主办题为"欧亚帝国的接触地带"("Contact Zones of Empires in Asia and Europe:Complexity,Contingency,Causality")的国际学术研讨会。2月28日,大会邀请九州大学名誉教授、九州历史博物馆馆长西谷正先生(Tadashi Nishitani)发表题为"汉帝国与东亚世界"的主题演讲①。西谷正先生的演讲以日本福冈志贺岛出土的"汉委奴国王"金印、朝鲜平壤贞柏洞出土的"夫租君"银印、中国云南石寨山出土的"滇王之印"和江苏甘泉出土的"广陵王玺"金印等为线索,以汉王朝的册封制度为视角,对汉帝国与周边政权的外交关系作了全面探讨,引起与会学者的关注。承蒙西谷正教授面允,笔者将演讲稿由英文转译成中文,以飨国内读者。需要说明的是,演讲稿原文无注释,为方便读者,译者对演讲稿所涉及的古代文献和考古资料一一作了注解,中国学...     

A New Proposed Passive Mega-Sub Controlled Structure and Response Control

It is still a serious challenge for structural engineers to effectively reduce the seismic responses of tall and super tall buildings to further improve these structural safeties. In order to solve this problem, in this article a new kind of structural configuration, named passive mega-sub controlled structure (PMSCS), is presented, which is constructed by applying the structural control principle into structural configuration itself, to form a new structure with obvious response self-control ability, instead of employing the conventional method. In the analysis of PMSCS the equations of motion of the seismically excited system are developed, based on a realistic analytical model of the complete mega-structural system. Expressions of the displacement and acceleration response of the structure, resulting from simulated earthquake ground motions represented by stationary and nonstationary random processes, are derived. These responses are then determined for both the PMSCS and its conventional mega-sub structure (MSS) counterpart, whose configuration was modeled after the traditional mega-frame that was used in the construction of the Tokyo City Hall. A parametric study of the structural characteristics that influence the response control effectiveness of the PMSCS is presented and discussed. The region over which these structural characteristics yield the optimum seismic response control of the PMSCS is identified and serves as a very useful design tool for practitioners. The study illustrates that the proposed PMSCS offers an effective means of controlling the seismic displacement and acceleration response of tall/super-tall mega-systems. It also overcomes shortcomings exhibited in earlier proposed mega-sub controlled structural configurations.
