Political Science in Mexico: Cold War and Post-Cold War Context

Abstract

Through a critical consideration of recent proposals urging the use of “citizen forums” or “mini-publics” on issues involving science, this article reflects on the challenge posed to democracy and democratic decision making by the intellectual authority of modern science. Though the danger of a descent into technocracy is real and pressing, arguably the most serious challenge to democracy today, these novel “deliberative democratic” institutions are unpromising as a corrective beyond the local level, and may actually exacerbate the problem. The article concludes with a consideration of alternatives.     

浅谈旅游紧急救援服务

随着旅游业的发展,旅游中的安全问题日益成为旅游者关注的焦点。旅游紧急救援作为现代旅游业必不可少的一项配套服务,在国际上已经得到了较为普遍的开展。然而在我国．这项业务尚处于起步阶段。本文从解释紧急救援服务的涵义出发,对现有的国际紧急救援机构在我国的业务开展状况和国内紧急救援服务的发展现状进行介绍。     

关于麦沱M47所出"西王母俑"的几个问题

通过对比研究,巫山麦沱M47所出“西王母俑”应该是“西王母陶灯”,其时代为“东汉晚期”。M47的时代也应该是“东汉晚期”,而并非原报告所定的“东汉早期”。该器物不是生活实用器,而应为祭祀或殉葬的明器,祈求通过西王母神来引魂升天。     

Prostitution,variegated homes,and the practice of unhomely life in China

This paper studies a group of female sex workers and their ambivalent experiences of home in Dongguan, China’s so-called sin city, before the local government technically cracked down on the city’s sex industry in 2014. It has two objectives. First, we explore these workers’ life journey: spatially from their rural hometown to Dongguan, socially from domestic migrants to sex workers, and subjectively from poor persons to extravagant spenders. Through this journey-based perspective, we show that the departure from one home opens a door to another home, but the door to the sex industry engulfs our respondents into a perpetual condition of unhomely life. Second, we analyze sex workers’ practices of (un)homely life in various spaces of working (sauna), dwelling (rented apartment), and consumption (shopping center) in Dongguan and their imagination of a new home. We argue that home is a liminal space of ambivalent experiences that revolve around dichotomous distinctions between privacy and publicity, friendship and segregation, marginalization and belonging. This paper contributes to the critical geographies of home by incorporating these ambivalent experiences of home into sex workers’ life journey of leaving and making home in the context of China.     

试论当代博物馆观众角色的转变和“以人为本”的服务理念

博物馆是一个面向全社会的公益性文化机构,公众是博物馆生存和发展的社会基础。在博物馆长达数百年的发展历程中,公众的地位是被动、消极的。然而,当代博物馆观众的需要正从内容的满意、理性的满足上升到对形式的满意、感性的满足。博物馆要充分发挥其社会作用,就必须坚持＂以人为本＂的服务理念。

商文化的手工业作坊内或附近往往有埋葬牺牲的现象,本文将其进行了梳理,并与甲骨卜辞和文献中的相关记载进行了比较,认为其是与手工业有关的祭祀(或巫术)活动的遗存。与手工业有关的祭祀或巫术活动遗存,在商代以前及周代的考古发掘中也屡有发现,它们是商代此类遗存的源和流。     

东西部区域协调发展与构建和谐社会调查分析

调查数据显示,我国区域发展政策、战略实施所产生的效应是明显的,它培育了经济发展的重点区域,促进了欠发达地区的发展。区域发展增速差距趋于缩小,和谐社会建设取得了不小的成绩,但也存在不少影响社会和谐的矛盾和问题,如何将社会资源在空间上进行有效的配置,合理组织东西部区域协调发展,是构建和谐社会的重大战略任务。

建立志书质量标准体系是构建志书质量“放心工程”的一项重要建设,它应该包含志书质量评价标准体系与志书质量控制标准体系。对保证志书质量而言,核心在于建立志书质量控制标准体系。这个体系应包括4个子系统：编写子系统、审稿子系统、出版子系统、监督子系统。同时要大力推动体系的环境建设,包括法制环境、学科环境、人才环境。

依据甲骨卜辞和考古资料,我国目前最早的社祭遗存属于商代二里岗上层时期.在甲骨卜辞中,商代的社与战争有着密切的关系.一般说来,当时的社有不同的种类,有木质或石质的主.社神的地位要低于祖先神的地位,其祭品主要是人牲、牺牲、酒等,但还没有像后世那样明显的等级差别.     

论国家创新体系的空间结构

创新是一个地区发展的内在动力。国家创新体系可分解为内部创新系统、外部创新系统、外部支撑系统等子系统,其作用在于促进知识的有序流动。本文在研究了国家创新体系的基础上,提出创新体系的空间结构应分为两个层面:虚拟空间、地理实体空间。
