注释学研究的回顾与前瞻

新兴的“注释学”经过三十多年的发展,已经在各个层面展开了广泛研究并取得了初步成果。本文描述了注释学研究的概貌,总结了得失,并展望今后注释学发展的方向,提出应加强注释史、不同类型文献的注释、注释学实践操作技术和注释学本体等四项课题的研究。     

Looking back: Marx and Bellamy1

No two images of socialism or utopia were more influential a century ago than those of Marx and Bellamy. Marx and Engels famously denied the utopian dimension of their own project; Bellamy celebrated it. In this essay I sketch out some clues for revisiting images of utopia in Marx and in Bellamy. My claim is that Marx failed to develop a systematic utopia or image of socialism. We are left with a series of hints towards five different images of utopia across the path of his life and work. Bellamy's image of utopia is more consistent, but contrary to common understanding, it reflects the unresolved tensions of nineteenth century American modernity expressed through the prism of New England small town radicalism. Bellamy's utopia is connected to the later image of the machine in the garden; contrary to William Morris's assertion, he was not an unmixed modern, and this is one quality at least that he shared with Marx, where the impress of romanticism remains profound.     

汉代铜器铭文著录与研究历史的回顾

汉代铜器铭文的著录与研究开始于宋代,但一直到清代,学者们的努力还主要集中在铭文的著录上,研究的成分很少。民国时期容庚《汉金文录》与《金文续编》问世,标志着汉代铜器铭文的著录与研究迈上了一个新的台阶。建国后,一批批汉代有铭铜器陆续出土并公布于世,一些学者如陈直、李学勤、裘锡圭、丘光明等从不同角度对汉代铜器铭文进行了研究,取得了可观的成就。但到目前为止还没有科学、全面的著录性著作,也没有系统的研究成果,在铭文的释文、断句、注释方面仍存在不少问题,某些研究结论还缺乏准确性。     

Looking back: a quarter of a century after the Cold War

This special issue of Cold War History offers a retrospective on the end of the Cold War, 25 years after its peaceful conclusion. This peaceful conclusion is an achievement that cannot be celebrated enough, and we must continue to build international relations in conflict and co-operation on this awareness of our common humanity and our common human fallibility.     

回望曲村——山西晋文化墓地发掘历程

1963年,北大和山西开启了至今已近半个世纪的合作探索晋文化之路,从1980年至今,天马一曲村遗址的发掘持续进行了多次,以大量的材料,确凿的证据证明曲村—天马遗址是又一处西周晋国的都城,已发掘晋侯及夫人墓9组19座、陪葬墓、祭祀坑各数+座,车马坑1座《发现10座),发掘者确定这批晋侯墓葬属于晋国第二代国君燮父至第十代文侯共9位晋侯及其夫人之墓,这是迄今西周考古最重大的发现。它不仅证实了司马迁《史记·晋世家关于晋国世系记载的正确,复原了西周晋国的历史,还为西周考古提供了更为准确的分期标尺,而今天,在已经建成晋国博物馆的曲村遗址上,分别走过60年发展历程的北大考古专业和山西考古研究所的合作,注定会铸成一座丰碑,     

两汉回首式走兽纹马具试析

饰有回首式走兽纹的马具集中出现于两汉时期。该种纹饰原是北方地区特有的纹样,常见于牌饰等金属器物的装饰,具有强烈的北方游牧民族风格。而其传入中原地区,则与汉代贵族强烈的猎奇心理密切相关。此类马具同时出现于地理跨度极大的南、北方地区,是汉王朝民族政策与文化交流的结果。     

Applied spatial modelling in the twenty-first century: the Wilson legacy. Looking back and looking forward

ABSTRACT

In this paper, we review the contributions of Alan Wilson to geography and regional science over a period of more than 50 years. Beginning from theoretical insights, mathematical models and spatial analytics methods for cities, the research becomes somewhat more applied in the 1980s. The notable impact of this work in a business and commercial setting is in marked contrast to a relative lack of traction in a public policy environment. Reasons for this are explored. In more recent times, the advent of big data has started to generate transformational approaches to geographical problems. We argue that years of accumulated experience from the study of more abstract problems within less well-instrumented systems was a precursor to this. Finally, we argue that through working with a ‘family’ of modellers, the skills available to meet these challenges is significantly more extensive than could have been the case in the absence of such a programme. It is a legacy which is at once inspiring, durable and hugely significant.

中国边疆史地学,作为一门新的、综合性的学科,在20世纪90年代以来取得了突飞猛进的发展。这是时代的需要,也是从事研究的学不懈努力的结果。回顾90年代以来中国边疆史地研究,展望21世纪,在世纪之交的今天更是具有重大的意义。     

新疆地方史研究百年回顾与展望

20世纪的新疆地方史研究是从新疆的重大考古发现开始的。1899年,瑞典地理学家、探险家斯赫定发现了古楼兰遗址,轰动了世界。紧接着,西方学打着各种旗号纷纷进入新疆这块广阔而神秘的土地。他们深入沙漠,涉猎废墟,探查测绘,发掘盗取,收集了不少珍贵历史物。并以此为基础,述立说。     

Looking Forward,Looking Back

This paper surveys the disparate literatures on time, and the relative paucity of metaphors available (based on spatial analogues or mirroring past and future onto one another). Parallels between approaches to the past and future are considered and different intellectual traditions surveyed in futurology, memory, history (chronotopes), archaeology and philosophy. Causation across time, how the past affects the present, how the future may affect present and the past are considered as ways of better understanding how tensed statements in time and of time are essential elements of history and of anthropology. Pluralizing is suggested as a positive step: we should be talking of pasts, futures and even of presents. This has consequences, for example, the Thin Red Line of actuality must be broadened to be perhaps the Thick Reddish Braid. As introduction to a special issue of History and Anthropology I consider the papers that follow and how they contribute to the theme.     

东北地方史研究的回顾与展望

一、东北区域的形成及其战略地位 今辽宁、吉林、黑龙江三省,以地处祖国东北方,概称为东北地区。早在先秦时代的典籍中,已把辽、吉、黑三省指为“东北”,其意为地理方位,而作为区域名,却是伴随着干百年行政区划的不断变迁而形成的。战国时,燕国在今辽宁省境设辽东、辽西两郡。     

Looking back: the Cotswolds and English national identity, c. 1890–1950

This paper examines how history was appropriated to construct a unique regional identity for the Cotswolds and a national identity for England in the period c. 1890 to 1950. It explores how ideas of the past, tradition, history, longevity and (dis)continuity were woven into representations of the Cotswolds as incontiguous, set apart and remote in time from contemporary England. The analysis examines how the apparently whimsical devise of «locating» the Cotswolds in specific pasts was mobilized to mount serious criticisms of the condition of England and Englishness. This was achieved through the use of the «door ajar» motif which was a particularly powerful means of expressing the perceived disruption of historical continuity in both the Cotswolds and England and is therefore examined at length. These themes are explored through non-fictional rural writing, guides and other written representations.
