In 1950,the People's Liberation Army marched to Tibet.When they passed through Kham area,the force attracted a large number of ethnic Tibetan youths who explicitly and voluntarily expressed their eagerness to join in the force.A certain Tibetan man from Derge and a young girl from Bathang,respectively named Ngangwang Phuntsok and Ngashi Yangzom。
