清代中晚期江苏官银匠的两大独立系统

清顺治十八年（1661）,清廷开始实行江南省左、右布政使的分治,以左布政使驻江宁,分置右布政使驻苏州。到康熙六年（1667）,江南省内分治的左、右布政使按照驻扎地江宁、苏州之名而称为江宁、苏州布政使。由于当时江南省所属之安徽和江苏尚未分立,所以江宁布政使还兼管安徽地区事务。     

试论专题资料在第二轮志书中的实用价值

第二轮志书不仅要加强志书的记述广度,还要加强志书的记述深度。因此,加大专题资料的收集力度与编写范围,是加强第二轮志书记述深度的有效途径之一。专题资料具有资政功能、协调功能、衔接功能,还可以增强志书的可读性。专题资料的选材应注重反映改革开放以来党和政府关心及人民关注的、给城乡人民带来实惠的、给社会各界带有警示作用的、有地方特点和特殊影响的典型事例。此外,选择专题资料还要把握好专题资料与志书整体内容的关系,以及资料贵专等原则。     

The Geographical Stage of Preparation of Complex Thematic Atlases

The planning of Soviet complex thematic atlases of particular regions or countries has followed a procedure previously established for general atlases. In view of the different problems involved in the preparation of the two types of atlases, it is suggested that the preparation of thematic atlases be broken down into two distinct phases: a geographical stage, in which geographers would make the principal contribution, and a technical planning stage that would be handled mainly by cartographers. Such a procedure would tend to speed up the production of atlases and to improve their content.     

Fragments of literary papyri from the collection of the Oslo University Library,II: Homer,Iliad 1.411-437 and 473-480

Two papyrus fragments--now in the collection of the Oslo University Library--are described, transcribed and commented on in this publication. Both fragments belonged originally to a roll containing at least book 1 of Homer's Iliad. The handwriting is informal and rather careless, while the portion of the text preserved is of low textual standard. The above features suggest that the roll was a product of private scribal activity.

Bringing Gender into the Evangelical-Capitalist Resonance Machine

Abstract

While William Connolly convincingly analyzes the pervasive anger and drive for revenge inhabiting much evangelical Christian writing, he overlooks the possibility that the emotional economies of evangelical women might differ from those of men. Several studies of right-wing Christian women suggest that grief, specifically grief over a loss related to children, is more formative of their political views than is rage. In contrast to the nostalgia expressed by Connolly's cowboy capitalists for an alleged pure market, these women long for a fictional time in America when the fetus was safe. Conservative religious women's grief and desire to protect vulnerable persons could resonate with progressive political projects of generosity and forbearance toward difference.

The Major Economic-Geographic Regions of the USSR

A survey of the recent history of development, shifts in locational patterns and changes in organizational structure of the craft industries of Gor'kiy Oblast, one of the principal craft-industry areas of the Soviet Union. The authors map changes in the distribution of crafts and analyze economic-geographic factors in locational changes. Recommendations are made to preserve some of the crafts within the pattern of the Soviet economic system.     

中国旧石器考古史上的两次大讨论

本文通过对中国旧石器考古史上两次大讨论的回顾,认为引起学界长期以来对石器性质进步与原始的争论的主要原因是对石料与石器制作技术的关系认识不够,“因材施工”可能是中国古人类适应环境的一个十分重要的手段,也是中国旧石器文化的一个特点,这一点对认识“东谷坨石核”的成因可能有一定的启示。
