刘长卿的佛教渊源

佛教走进刘长卿的生活,并成为其一生的信仰。佛教不仅成为刘长卿思想上的精神寄托,还在潜移默化中塑造了他深幽简净、自然含蓄的诗歌风格。本文从中唐时代精神的巨变、山水诗与佛教审美体悟机制的天然联系以及刘长卿自身坎坷经历等方面,对刘长卿的佛教渊源及渗透作了分析。     

高昌、龟兹回鹘风格佛教遗址中的地狱图像

高昌与龟兹回鹘风格的佛教遗址中出现的六遭轮回图,在内容上着重表现"三恶道"中的地狱、饿鬼两道,在表现形式上呈现出多样性,并且具有地方性的特点,与早期律藏中的记载相去甚远.回鹘佛教的地狱观念深受中原地藏菩萨救赎思想的影响,而高昌回鹘文《地藏菩萨本愿经》与《十王图》的发现为轮回思想在当地的流行提供了有力证据.地狱图像在高昌与龟兹盛行的原因除了受到佛教的地狱救赎思想影响外,还受到摩尼教地狱观念的影响.回鹘在信仰佛教之前所信仰的摩尼教,也有地狱的观念,佛教的十王思想与摩尼教的冥府思想之间有密切的联系.     

论《茶经》的儒、释、道美学思想

儒、释、道三家对茶圣陆羽都有巨大影响,其主要著作《茶经》既充分体现了儒家中庸和谐的美学思想,也深刻体现了佛教禅宗茶禅一味以及道家自然天道的审美意境。

从敦煌僧人服饰看汉化、世俗化的形成因素

敦煌壁画中僧人服饰与域外佛教服饰不同,从中可看出敦煌佛教服饰汉化、世俗化的形成过程,究其原因:一是本土文化的影响,二是南北文化的交流。中土外来的僧人服饰受到本土传统服饰文化、思想的同化与影响,随着中土僧服的形成而成为汉化的服饰文化。同时,它也为拥有极强包容性和同化力的中土传统服饰文化所渗透,而完成其汉化、世俗化过程,与中土传统思想所相融。

六祖慧能是中国禅宗南宗的创始人,是中国思想史上影响最大的佛教人物之一。他的一生充满着传奇色彩。     

浅析荥阳北周村东魏造像碑

北周村东魏造像碑是河南现存较为完整的佛道造像碑,碑体高大,雕刻内容丰富。该碑始造时应为佛教造像,后来因需要又将主尊释迦佛改刻成道教祖师形象,成为佛道造像碑,反映了当时道教利用佛教造像来宣传道教教义。本文从其雕刻内容和时代风格以及道教造像的发展等方面进行分析,来看北朝晚期嵩洛地区道教对佛教造像的改造和依附。     

试论敦煌佛教歌辞中儒释思想的调合

儒家的思想文化观念很早就已在敦煌地区扎根传播,形成了忠君孝亲的道德人伦观念。特别是作为儒家基本道德伦理观的“孝亲”观念,在古代敦煌得到了特别的提倡和发扬。佛教传入之后,儒家思想与佛教思想发生密切交融。从敦煌佛教歌辞可以看出,佛教为了自身的生存和发展,努力在两种文化中寻找契合之处,对共同的伦理内容给予强调和突出,并注意积极吸收儒家的思想观念,从而缩短了两种文化的差距,使佛教易为广大人民所接受。其结果一方面是佛教经义中融进不少儒家思想,出现了佛教的中国化、儒学化,另一方面是佛教思想观念大量融入中土文化,大大丰富发展了中土的传统思想文化的固有内容,并最终成为中土文化的有机组成部分。     

浅论佛儒道三教之融合

产生于印度的佛教,为了能在中国本土传播,在最初的传入过程中主动与儒道结合,由于佛道儒三教本身又有某些契合和互补之处,所以从思想理论上看,佛教的发展史在很大程度上就是佛教与儒道的融合史。
