Golden tiled roofs are typically seen on the halls and dagobas of monasteries. They are a lofty and luxurious building decoration made of bronze with gold gild.This building decoration and building style is an exclusive possession of Tibet. The gilded bronze.tube-like tiles used to form the roof have upturned eaves at four comers each has an open-mouthed huge legendary turtle.The roof is decorated with Buddhist umbrellas and bottles and reclining deen.And the eaves are carved with such patterns as Dharma wheel.  相似文献

A set of buried objects was found in Jin Shi, Hunan province in the May of 1984. The identification shows that two of them are ranked the nation‘s 1st rank treasures. Analyzed by their shape and decoration, they are of Yuan dynasty and bear the features of those of Song Dynasty. The designs on them are rather complicated, such as the dragon and phoenix, coiled grass, meander pattern, linked beads, and plum blossom, which are usually found in the objects of Yuan dynasty. The refined craftsmanship and gorgeous decoration demonstrate fully the features of Yuan dynasty.  相似文献

The porcelain in cloisoon enamel is a precious kind produced in the three reigns of Kangxi, Yongzhen, and Qianlong of Qing Dynasty. Its technological process is very complicated. The double-body pottery pot was unearthed in 1977 at the Karub ruins in Chamdo,Tibet,and has a history of more than 4,000 years.The shape of the vessel is made of two identical bag-shaped gallipots connected together,so it is named"double-body pot".According to the fibet Museum,the pot mouse has a diameter of 11.3cm,a bottom diameter of 8.4cm and a height of 19cm.Its texture is yellow pottery with sand.The mouth is horn shaped,straight neckt abdomen is con nected bag shaped double body,cervical shoulder has a pair of holes for tying rope.The surface of the pot is exquisitely decorated;with the use of carved lines and Cinnabar black painting decoration.The ware is full and beautiful in shape,ingenious in conception and skilled in craftsmanship,which represents the highest level of pottery production of Karub culture at that time and is known as the representative work of neolithic pottery in Tibet.  相似文献

This tomb,consisting of a vertical passage and a main room made of brick,excavated by Xi‘an Municipal Institute of Relics Preservation and Archaeology in August, 1998. According to the epitaph,the occupant was Zhuzeng(朱zheng),a member of imperial family,titled Qianyang Duanyi King(汧阳端懿王). There were 111 materials such as pottery ceremonial figurines with bright color,vivid expression and various action;fine models of house and furniture with well--preserved color,sacrificial utensils;porcelains ;bronze coins ;wooden stamp and stone epitaph etc. excavated out . This excavation provided detail data for us to study the tomb formation,burial custom,style of construction,art of clay sculpture,characteristics of furniture,ceremonial system and cloth fashion etc. of Ming dynasty.  相似文献

The book is confined to the study of the “popular morality” of the Athenians of the second half of the fifth century BCE and the whole extent of the fourth. EDITOR'S NOTE The water birds wintering in Lhunzhub are peculiar to the many wetlands subject to special protection in Tibet. With a view to preventing overspending and destroying the hilly areas and the grasslands, the State has been working hard to seek protection of the wetlands, and the Forestry Bureau of Lhunzhub County seeks to control soil erosion by planting trees and gross. The Gongjiawan site.about 1200m^2, locates at Chafang township of Danfeng county. According to the stratigraphical deposits and the characteristics of the cuhural relics,Gongjiawan site can be mainly divided into three phases. The first phase is Yangshao Culture. The second is early period of Longshan Culture,which is discovered in the uper reaches of Danjing River for the first time,the discovery fills an important gap in developing alignment of archaeological cultures in this region. The third belongs to the middle--late era of the Western Zhou,which is different from that of the corresponding period of Guanzhong district, while is closed to that of Chu culture of the corresponding period of Hubei Province. The discovery is important for us to explore the distribution of Chu culture and cultural relation between Western Zhou and Chu ,at that lime.  相似文献
