广告语义翻译与语用翻译试探

广告的目的是宣传产品争取消费者,促成其购买行为。这决定了其翻译的特殊性,决定了语义翻译和交际翻译的适用性。译者在翻译过程中以纽马克的翻译理论为基础,灵活采用语义翻译与语用翻译相结合的方法,同时考虑到文化差异及译语消费者的审美标准和价值取向,巧妙处理内容与功能的传达,充分发挥广告宣传产品吸引顾客的功能。

<正>Generally, literary styles are used widely, such as novels, prose, poems, and plays. They have common characters: abundant words, lively language, variant syntax and different style. Literature is the art that uses language as a medium. Literature is a performance in words. It is the work of men who are especially sensitive to the language of their time and who use the skill of language to make permanent their vision of life. It’s very important and very difficult to retain the style of the original works while translating.     

Archaeology in Translation

In this editorial I note a type of resistance to the hegemony of English in academic contexts and call for consideration of expanding on this development. In an editors note I go on the credit assistant editors Marcia Bezerra, Julie Holowell and Alexander Hererra who were inadvertently not acknowledged in the volumes to which they contributed.

Resumen En este editorial hago notar una cierta resistencia hacia la hegemonía del idioma inglés en contextos académicos y hago un llamado a considerar la expansión de este desarrollo. En una nota editorial doy crédito a los editores asistentes Marcia Becerra, Julie Hollowell y Alexander Herrera, quienes inadvertidamente no fueron reconocidos en los volúmenes donde ellos contribuyeron.

Dans une note de l’éditeur dans laquelle je suis mentionnée, les rédacteurs adjoints Marcia Bezerra, Julie Holowell et Alexander Hererra n’ont pas, par inadvertance, été reconnus dans les publications auxquelles ils ont contribué.

     

术语互译:ballad的汉译与歌谣运动研究

以"互译性"的视角来看,在近代的歌谣学学术史研究中,还有许多术语都值得重新梳理,ballad就是其中之一。它是较早被来华西方人引入中国的术语,也引起了中国知识分子相当多的讨论。从来华西方人的引介来看,ballad在中译的过程中,虽然也存在内涵不明确等问题,但其基本指向还是与欧洲语境中所指的"叙事的短歌"一致。中国知识分子在引介ballad时,则出现了术语混乱的现象。而基于歌谣运动中对音乐性的忽视、对抒情性的青睐及对民众基础的追求等特点,folksong得以最终取代ballad,成为"歌谣"的代名词。

Gl'Ingannati and its French Renaissance Translation

The article outlines the ideal Spain, as suggested by Ángel Del Río and M. J. Benardete in their essay in El concepto contemporáneo de España: Antología de ensayos (1895-1931). To these authors, Spain consists of a kind of modernist subjectivity that opposes the official Francoist Spain. The motherland so desired by Benardete and Del Río is an ethical construction set on a humanist base, unifying the domestic and the European, tradition and modernity—one that does not exclude but integrates. The discourse represents the political thinking of liberal nationalism diffused by the Center of Historic Studies or the philosophy of Ortega and Gasset.
